Our client, an international organization with a well-established position on the global market, is currently seeking an experiencedIndependent Accountant to join its team in Poland. Scope of Responsibilities Independently managing the full accounting of the company in line with local regulations and Group standards. Handling AR/AP processes, including receivables control and accurate settlement of expenses and VAT. Preparing key tax filings, including VAT, CIT, and KSeF reporting. Cooperating with an external payroll provider and overseeing the accuracy of payroll settlements. Performing month-end closing activities, including provisions, reconciliations, balance analysis, and preparation of reports for management and headquarters. Coordinating the annual financial statement process and cooperating with auditors and external institutions. Ongoing cooperation with international finance teams and representing the Polish entity in communications with headquarters. Requirements Experience working in an international environment- preferred. Very good knowledge of Polish accounting and tax regulations. Strong proficiency in MS Excel and experience working with ERP systems. High level of accuracy, reliability, and independence. Practical, proactive, hands-on approach to daily tasks.
