Zakres obowiązków
Develop and manage business plans with suppliers to achieve the established cost‑reduction targets, supervising corrective actions when necessary to avoid deviations.
Act as the main point of contact between Purchasing and suppliers involved in new product development, as well as represent other SEAT departments before already assigned supplier companies to manage claims.
Supervise model launches together with R&D and Logistics, and issue the necessary documentation to ensure successful launches; additionally, monitor supplier assignment and orders to meet timing targets, requesting part deliveries from suppliers in case of delays.
Manage and analyze the technical, financial, and logistics information required to implement the Forward Sourcing process, defining strategies for new parts to meet the objectives set in the PSK regarding part cost, investments, quality, and services.
Define supplier allocation strategies for new products in line with company guidelines and objectives, request quotations from suppliers, and propose their participation in Global Forward Sourcing within the corresponding Local Purchasing Team.
Prepare the documentation to be presented to the CSC (Corporate Sourcing Committee) for approval and, when necessary, renegotiate proposals according to the defined strategy; participate in weekly Pre‑meeting sessions and in the various SEAT and Consortium committees as required.
Prepare supplier nomination and approval letters and ensure their distribution to the relevant stakeholders.
Supervise technical changes made to products, ensuring the release of pricing and the required investments for such changes.
Ensure the resolution of modifications (Äkos) in compliance with defined targets for timelines, costs, and investments, and place the first related order up to three months after SOP.
Through benchmarking, ensure the optimal development of the bidder list and carry out national and international market scouting to propose new supplier sources for SEAT and the Consortium, contributing to the optimization of quality, service, and purchasing prices while ensuring compliance with committed budget objectives.
