• Będziesz odpowiedzialny za badania materiałowe związane z izolacją elektryczną, materiałami polimerowymi i kompozytami funkcjonalnymi.

• Rozwój i zastosowanie nowych technologii materiałowych dla produktów ABB, w tym rozdzielnic i urządzeń.

• Opracowywanie zrównoważonych rozwiązań, które pozwolą na redukcję śladu węglowego produktów ABB.

• Monitorowanie nowych technologii materiałowych i wsparcie w definiowaniu przyszłych działań badawczych.

You will be mainly accountable for

• Cooperation with international R&D teams, universities and institutes

• PhD degree in Material Science, Physics or related discipline

• At least 5 years of hands‑on research experience in material science, specifically focused on electrical insulation, polymeric materials, and functional composites

• Laboratory experience: tests, measurements and experimental works

• Basic knowledge in area of electrical engineering (required to understand the ABB products specifications and design requirements)

• Good command of English and strong communication skills

• Although not obligatory experience in DC insulation and CAD modeling will be beneficial
