• A degree in geomatics, with a background in the applications of

• archaeological excavation contexts, archaeology or any other

• related discipline

• An academic background or fieldwork experience in funerary

• archaeology or related field

• A specialization in ancient Egypt and Nubia, ideally with a focus

• in the archaeology and history of medieval Nubia will be

• considered an advantage

• Training and experience in conducting archaeological fieldwork

• (at least two field seasons of experience with a preference for

• fieldwork experience in Sudan), including recording and

• documenting site features, particularly funerary structures.

• Aptitude with total station and geomatic digital media, production

• of orthophotographs, and photogrammetry (e.g. Agisoft or similar)

• and associated outputs is required.
