holds at least a doctoral degree;
has significant academic achievements;
has presented a plan for further academic activity;
has international experience.
A degree in geomatics, with a background in the applications of
archaeological excavation contexts, archaeology or any other
related discipline
An academic background or fieldwork experience in funerary
archaeology or related field
A specialization in ancient Egypt and Nubia, ideally with a focus
in the archaeology and history of medieval Nubia will be
considered an advantage
Training and experience in conducting archaeological fieldwork
(at least two field seasons of experience with a preference for
fieldwork experience in Sudan), including recording and
documenting site features, particularly funerary structures.
Aptitude with total station and geomatic digital media, production
of orthophotographs, and photogrammetry (e.g. Agisoft or similar)
and associated outputs is required.

If hired, we expect the University of Warsaw to be the primary
workplace for the successful candidate.
During the period of receiving this remuneration, the researcher will
not receive any other remuneration from funds granted as direct costs
of research projects financed under NC competitions, and will not
receive remuneration from another employer on the basis of an
employment contract, including an employer with its registered office
outside the territory of Poland.
