Good to very good university degree qualifying for doctoral studies in computer science, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a comparable field
Knowledge and / or highly motivated in gaining knowledge in Automotive On-Board Charger development
Experienced in Embedded software programming using Microcontrollers (e.g. C2000, STM, Aurix)
Capability in schematic and layout design
Hands-on experience in hardware testing and debugging is preferred
System level simulations such as using Matlab/Simulink/PLECs is preferred
German or English language level B2
Zakres obowiązków
Designing, simulating and testing of on-board chargers with digital control and analoge circuits
Conducting an in depth study on a specific area within power converter system power electronics
Creating and develpoing of basic software and hardware prototypes
Utilizing design tools and implementing simulation models
Collaborating directly with system engineers of VW to design and prototype key functions of next generation On-Board Chargers

The prerequisite for the cooperation is the confirmation of supervision as well as a confirmed delimitation of topics by the professor of a university or research institution entitled to confer a doctorate.
