Your profile and qualifications
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
Junior or Senior standing preferred.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Prior internships, campus leadership, or relevant project experience is a plus.
Experience with ERP systems, Power BI, Dynamics, or SAP is a plus.
Travel Required: Minimal (5%)
Your responsibilities and tasks
Assist with preparing journal entries and related supporting documentation.
Support balance sheet reconciliations and investigate reconciling items.
Assist in gathering and organizing data for month-end close activities.
Help prepare account analyses and financial reports.
Support intercompany reconciliation processes and data validation efforts.
Assist with inventory, overhead, and operational finance reporting.
Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records.
Assist with tax and statutory reporting support activities.
Help identify discrepancies in financial data and escalate issues as appropriate.
Support special projects, process improvement initiatives, and ad hoc analyses.
Learn and apply accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
