Your team
You will be working in the IB Change team in the heart of Krakow City in Poland (Fabryczna Office Park). The team is part of a broader international organisation, reporting into the IB Chief Operating Office and working in partnership with the Business, Chief Data & Information Office, and Group Functions. It takes ownership to manage and deliver critical strategic and regulatory changes for the Investment Bank. This global team is made up of approximately 80 dedicated initiative managers and business/data analysts, and is focused on the delivery of critical strategic and regulatory change programs and projects that impact multiple IB business areas and front-to-back functions.

Your expertise
Ideally, 2+ years of experience in project management and delivery within a financial organisation (or consulting within the financial sector)
experience with multiple project delivery methodologies, including waterfall and agile
experience delivering regulatory projects and/or knowledge of the regulatory landscape would be an advantage
experience with Run-the-Bank delivery and/or knowledge of financial products would be an advantage
ability to build relationships across a global organisation, establish trust, and influence internal and external stakeholders
strong analytical and problem-solving skills, quick learner with good attention to detail
structured, organised with strong planning skills
a ‘can do’ approach and willingness to learn
ability to work under pressure, hit deadlines and manage to a budget
aptitude for technology
proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
strong written and verbal communication skills in English is a must
Your role
Are you a project manager looking for your next big challenge? Do you know what it takes to deliver complex changes in an Agile operating environment? Are you comfortable presenting to and influencing senior management stakeholders?
We're looking for an Initiative Manager to:
manage the delivery of one (or more) new change initiative as part of larger IB-wide strategic and/or regulatory change programs. Examples of projects we handle include European T+1 Settlement, CRD VI, transaction/trade reporting regulations, and others
manage the project plan, resources, risks, issues, delivery schedule, and quality
steer a multidisciplinary team through the full project lifecycle
develop strong relationships with all project stakeholders
provide regular updates to senior management
ensure that Run-the-Bank teams are kept informed, involved, and able to take on their new responsibilities after go-live
