Junior Data Engineer

Your new company Join an international IT consulting company and work on a cutting-edge data platform project for one of its clients. Become part of the Data & AI Factory team, responsible for maintaining and enhancing data and AI solutions for the company's client. Please note: This role requires shift work, including afternoon and night shifts. Your new role Your responsibilities will include: Working as part of the 24/7 Data & AI Factory team, collaborating closely with the client to support DataOps and AI initiatives. Participating in the design, development, maintenance, and troubleshooting of data pipelines, data models, and transformations. Building, maintaining, and troubleshooting data observability solutions to improve data quality and reliability. Transforming data into valuable business insights and delivering customised solutions tailored to each client's needs. What you'll need to succeed Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Experience with one or more programming languages, preferably Python and/or Java. Basic knowledge of Go (Golang). Strong knowledge of dbt. Proficiency in SQL. Good knowledge of Looker and/or Power BI. Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with ITIL best practices. Understanding database and data analytics technologies, including relational and NoSQL databases, data warehouse design, and ETL/ELT pipelines. Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data products and services. Fluent English communication skills. What you'll get in return Hybrid working model.
