Lead QA Automation Engineer, JavaScript

Description

We are seeking a Lead QA Automation Engineer to join the SAP CRM team, focusing on an SAP-specific QA automation solution. Playwright expertise is a must. This is a unique opportunity to drive the development of a QA automation solution from the ground up, aiming to establish a Gold Standard QA Automation Framework that can serve as a benchmark for other teams and units. Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of a robust QA automation framework for SAP CRM and SAP TC domains Collaborate with client business and IT leaders and promote best practices in QA automation Work closely with existing QA and AQA teams, provide mentorship and share expertise Build automation solutions from scratch and continue what is already established Educate team members on modern QA concepts and methodologies Perform manual testing when required to ensure comprehensive coverage and quality Introduce and leverage AI technologies as part of modern QA ways of working, enhance automation and testing efficiency Requirements 5+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer, ideally within the SAP domain Proficiency in Playwright Familiarity with AI native ways of working (Engineering, SDLC, etc.) Skills in JS and TypeScript Knowledge of automation frameworks, tools, and best practices Capability to work independently and make a significant impact within a team Excellent communication skills in English Nice to have Experience in manual testing

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer, ideally within the SAP domain

• Proficiency in Playwright

• Familiarity with AI native ways of working (Engineering, SDLC, etc.)

• Skills in JS and TypeScript

• Knowledge of automation frameworks, tools, and best practices

• Capability to work independently and make a significant impact within a team

• Excellent communication skills in English
