Lead SAP CAP Java Developer

Description

We're looking for a Lead SAP CAP Java Developer to join our team in Poland in a hybrid or remote working mode. In this role, you will drive the development of high-quality enterprise solutions leveraging SAP CAP and Java to meet client needs and industry standards. You will play a key part in ensuring timely delivery of features, addressing complex technical challenges, and contributing to architecture and design decisions that enable scalable and maintainable solutions. Responsibilities Ensure on-time delivery of application features while meeting functional specifications and quality standards Develop backend components using Java, REST/CXF, MVC frameworks such as Spring Boot, SAP CAP programming model, and SQL Contribute to requirements analysis, design documentation, and perform design and code reviews Implement automated unit tests to achieve full code coverage Design and execute automated functional tests covering positive and negative scenarios Troubleshoot and resolve defects and customer issues within defined SLAs Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine technical solutions and improve processes Requirements Proven experience in backend development with Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot Solid understanding of SAP CAP programming model Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and MVC frameworks Hands-on experience with SQL and relational database concepts Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and version control systems such as GitHub Experience with testing frameworks and tools including JUnit, Karate, Selenium, and Postman Knowledge of agile development practices and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence Requirements Proven experience in backend development with Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot Solid understanding of SAP CAP programming model Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and MVC frameworks Hands-on experience with SQL and relational database concepts Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and version control systems such as GitHub Experience with testing frameworks and tools including JUnit, Karate, Selenium, and Postman Knowledge of agile development practices and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence Nice to have Experience with test automation frameworks like Qmate and qTest Exposure to cloud platforms and microservices architecture

Requirements
