Lead SAP FICO Consultant

Description

We're looking for a Lead SAP FICO Consultant to join our team and lead finance transformation efforts on global projects. In this position, you will apply your deep SAP knowledge to design, configure, and implement financial solutions aligned with business goals, while offering expert direction to both onshore and offshore teams. Responsibilities Engage with key business users to collect necessary requirements Assess business needs to plan solution design ahead of time Take part in business workshops and conduct Fit-to-Standard analysis Set up and tailor functionality to meet customer business and industry requirements Develop project documentation, including training materials for business application users Provide troubleshooting and support for SAP solutions Requirements Minimum 5 years of SAP FICO experience, with at least 3 complete lifecycle implementations Strong background in integrating finance with core upstream modules like SD, MM, and WM Understanding of how Payroll integrates with finance processes Proficiency in financial accounting and controlling setup, covering bank accounting, cash management, and asset management Experience with project systems and project accounting setup Ability to lead and run workshops while managing onshore and offshore teams Strong client-facing consulting skills paired with excellent communication Enthusiasm for driving finance transformation and delivering value Interest in contributing to both the finance team and SAP practice strategy Willingness to travel as needed English proficiency at B2+ level Nice to have Professional accounting credentials

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of SAP FICO experience, with at least 3 complete lifecycle implementations

• Strong background in integrating finance with core upstream modules like SD, MM, and WM

• Understanding of how Payroll integrates with finance processes

• Proficiency in financial accounting and controlling setup, covering bank accounting, cash management, and asset management
