We are looking for a M&A Senior Consultant for ERP to support complex transformation and separation programs, including large-scale divestitures acting as a trusted advisor to clients throughout the full lifecycle of separation initiatives. In this role, you will primarily focus on defining the approach, shaping solutions, and guiding execution. You will help clients understand required changes across their technology landscape, business processes, and operating models, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Your key responsibilities

• Support end-to-end ERP workstreams in strategic and complex transformations, or M&A transactions

• Contribute to ERP strategy and architecture discussions, including system separation, integration, and optimization

• Coordinate complex ERP projects and manage relations with client stakeholders, including C-level

• Develop high-quality client deliverables (presentations, assessments, business cases) with a strong storyline and executive focus

• Translate business needs into scalable, technology-enabled solutions across ERP plat

• Leverage AI tools and innovative approaches to accelerate analysis, solution design, and delivery efficiency

• Quickly ramp up on new functional or technical areas, applying structured thinking and AI-assisted problem solving where prior experience is limited

• Identify opportunities for innovation and automation in client environments and proactively bring improvement ideas

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Strong understanding and proven practical experience of ERP platforms (e.g. SAP S/4Hana, MS Dynamics) and ERP-dependable satellite applications

• +6 years’ experience in IT project management and in IT consulting roles

• 3+ years of experience in ERP-related transformation projects, ideally within large-scale or multi-entity environments

• Exposure to supporting ERP activities in business transitions, such as migrations, re-platforming, integrations, or system upgrades

• Understanding of how ERP systems support core business processes (e.g. Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing)

• Ability to work in fast-paced, deal-driven environments, with strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills

• Analytical mindset, adaptability, and willingness to learn in dynamic M&A contexts

• Ability to travel and work across EU (up to 20% annually)

• Excellent written and verbal command of English (German and other European language will be a plus)

• Occasional work outside normal business hours to work with international teams (e.g. United States)

Ideally, you’ll also have experience working in

• Experience in ERP projects in M&A transactions (e.g. integrations, separations, transformations)

• Supporting ERP-related workstreams during business transitions, including data, process, or system technology alignment

• Professional services or consulting environments, preferably in technology or operational transformation contexts

• ERP certifications

• University degree in field related to IT

• Experience in building strong working relationships with senior clients, including influence, advice and support to key decision makers

• Already gained experience in international environment
