Description
As the successful candidate, you will: - Assist in defining project scope and in the compilation and delivery of monthly engineering status reports - Assist the Engineering Manager/Lead Mechanical Engineer with the delivery of the project requirements as they relate to scope, cost and schedule - Perform system analyses, establish user requirements, analyse system functional and performance requirements, define design criteria, and establish system layouts and designs - Prepare engineering calculations such as hydraulic modelling, stress analysis, equipment sizing and tank, pressure vessel and bin design and ensuring that all analyses satisfy user and system requirements - Prepare technical specifications based on input received from other disciplines - Conduct interface management between related systems - Prepare data sheets based on input received from other disciplines - Prepare and contribute to technical memos and reports, within areas of expertise - Provide input to engineering, operating and capital cost estimates - Prepare and/or review project standard specifications and design criteria - Prepare or provide input to 3D models and 2D mechanical drawings - Participate in and contribute to design reviews - Carry out assigned tasks within budget and schedule, assist in preparing proposals - Stamp documents and drawings as required and if appropriately registered - Manage small capital and maintenance projects - Review and evaluate technical work prepared by junior engineers, intermediate engineers, designers, technicians and technologists - Construction supervision and management dependent upon project demands - Assist in the commissioning of systems on site as required. What you bring to the role: - B.Sc./B.Eng., M.Sc. or M.Eng. in mechanical engineering or equivalent. - Several years of project engineering experience. - Ability to effectively communicate in English and Polish. - Good communication, planning and interpersonal skills. - Ability to function with minimal supervision. - Working knowledge of industry standards, regulations and codes pertinent to the mechanical engineering discipline. - Ability to function as a member of a multidisciplinary team and coordinate mechanical activities between disciplines.
