Are you ready to translate the EU Cyber Resilience Act and IEC 62443 into practical engineering decisions for automation products? As Product Cybersecurity Specialist, you will become the cybersecurity focal point in automation and influence how GEA develops secure solutions for processing plants worldwide. At GEA, you can look forward to: - Influencing product development standards across a broad portfolio of automation and digital products - Collaborating with international engineering teams, product management and cybersecurity specialists - Developing your expertise in Industrial Cybersecurity, Secure Product Development and Regulatory Compliance. Based in Søborg, you will join Automation Execution: two teams working as one organization with more than 38 automation engineers. Together, we deliver complete automation packages, primarily for spray drying and freeze-drying plants, while sharing knowledge and supporting each other across disciplines.

Your profile and qualifications
Have at least 4-5 years of Industrial Automation Engineering experience
Understand PLC, SCADA, industrial networks, instrumentation and communication protocols
Have experience with secure system design, network segmentation, risk assessments and architecture reviews
Understand digital products, software-based automation and system integration
Ideally know IEC 62443, CRA, NIS2 or ISO/IEC 27001 – this is an advantage, not a requirement.
Your responsibilities and tasks
Assess hardware, software and digital components for CRA applicability and cybersecurity classification
Define traceable security requirements and conduct threat modelling, risk assessments and impact analyses
Review automation and network architectures and advise on secure PLC, SCADA and software development
Coordinate design reviews, validation, security testing, and support penetration testing and compliance assessments
Prepare and maintain CRA and CE documentation and support SBOM, supplier assessments, vulnerability management, disclosure processes and internal training.
