Salesforce Data Migration Engineer | Middle

Description

We are seeking a Salesforce Data Migration Engineer to join a Data Migration Team responsible for modernizing contracting and billing pipelines through the migration of legacy data into a target Salesforce ecosystem. This role requires a hands-on contributor who will build, test, and execute data migration strategies while ensuring high-quality, accurate data loads across complex Salesforce CPQ and CLM environments. Responsibilities Build and execute extraction, transformation, mapping, validation, and loading (ETL/ELT) processes as defined in the data migration strategy Contribute to code reviews and adhere to technical standards and validation protocols established for the migration team Execute rollback and disaster recovery procedures during mock and production cutovers, flag issues, and support rapid resolution Execute the migration of complex, relational CPQ data, including Product Catalogs, Price Books, Quote templates, Subscriptions, Assets, and multi-tier Contracting hierarchies, while maintaining referential integrity Collaborate with Salesforce Architects and the Technical Lead to map legacy financial and billing data into target Salesforce ARM and CLM data structures Troubleshoot and resolve data mapping issues unique to CPQ, such as migrating active subscription contracts and aligning historical pricing rules Apply data profiling and cleansing standards to ensure high-fidelity, deduplicated data is loaded into the target environment Follow data security and compliance requirements to ensure migrated data meets regulatory and enterprise data governance frameworks Build and run automated validation scripts to perform pre- and post-load reconciliation in support of full financial data accuracy Requirements 5+ years of IT experience, including 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Data Migration experience on enterprise-scale implementations Experience executing at least one major migration involving Salesforce CPQ/Billing Understanding of CPQ data structures, including how Quote Lines, Subscriptions, and Contract objects interrelate Proficiency in Salesforce ETL tools such as MuleSoft, Informatica, and Talend or Jitterbit Skills in data loading tools such as SF Data Loader, Copado, and Salesforce DX Strong SQL skills and data modeling experience Experience working with high-volume data sets containing millions of records English proficiency at B2 level or higher Nice to have Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist Salesforce Certified Data Architect (working towards or held)

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT experience, including 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Data Migration experience on enterprise-scale implementations

• Experience executing at least one major migration involving Salesforce CPQ/Billing

• Understanding of CPQ data structures, including how Quote Lines, Subscriptions, and Contract objects interrelate

• Proficiency in Salesforce ETL tools such as MuleSoft, Informatica, and Talend or Jitterbit

• Skills in data loading tools such as SF Data Loader, Copado, and Salesforce DX

• Strong SQL skills and data modeling experience

• Experience working with high-volume data sets containing millions of records

• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
