Short description
As a Category Owner, you will shape the Consumer Electronics market in Poland, co-managing a portfolio of brands in emerging technologies (such as laptops, PCs, or smartphones), as well as Home Electronics and Domestic Appliances (RTV/AGD). We aren’t looking for someone who just manages spreadsheets. We want an open-minded individual who has a perfect pulse on current market trends and intuitively understands why a specific product becomes the hit of the season.
This is a unique opportunity for dynamic, goal-oriented individuals who want to develop their skills under the guidance of experts and take their e-commerce career to the next level.
What we offer
Flexible working hours in a hybrid model (4/1) - our hours can start between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. We also have 30 days of occasional remote work.
Annual bonus based on your annual performance and company results.
Well-located offices (with e.g. fully equipped kitchens, bicycle parking, terraces full of greenery) and excellent work tools (e.g., raised desks, ergonomic chairs, interactive conference rooms).
A wide selection of fringe benefits in a cafeteria plan - you choose what you like (e.g. medical, sports or lunch packages, insurance, purchase vouchers).
English classes that we pay for related to the specific nature of your job.
A training budget, inter-team tourism and an internal learning platform where you will find multiple trainings.
An additional day off for volunteering, which you can use alone, with a team, or with a larger group of people connected by a common goal.
Social events for Allegro people - Spin Kilometers, Family Day, Fat Thursday, and many other occasions we enjoy.
And that's just the beginning! You can read more about the benefits here.
#goodtobehere means that:
You will shape the future of e-commerce - creating innovative, pioneering solutions that set new market standards. We have over 21 million active buyers across 6 countries and collaborate with more than 164k Partners.

You will be part of a team that always aims to stay one step ahead of the market - we act quickly, dynamically, and at the highest level, because only then we can genuinely shape the future of e-commerce.
You will build your own development path - with access to diverse business areas, large-scale international projects, internal mobility, inter-team tourism, and regular feedback from your manager, you will drive your growth.
You will see that mistakes are opportunities to learn - we believe that no matter how well we execute, we can always get better.
Send us your CV and… see you at Allegro!
This is the right job for you if:
We are looking for dynamic, energetic individuals with high business potential. Ideally, you possess initial experience in the industry (e.g., in procurement or category management) or 1-2 years of experience in strategic consulting (in which case, sector expertise is not required). Years of experience are not a prerequisite for us. What matters most is a strong sense of ownership, as well as passion and drive to succeed!
Have a natural commercial flair, a strong goal-oriented mindset, and a drive to seek out new market opportunities.
Are genuinely interested in the Consumer Electronics / New Tech industry, with a true passion for tracking technological innovations and market trends.
Understand e-commerce and the fundamental mechanics of online retail. Previous experience gained working for a manufacturer, distributor, or in retail will be a strong asset.
Enjoy working with data, can draw insights from numbers, and are fully proficient in tools like Excel and PowerPoint.
Are highly organized, able to multitask effectively, and consistently meet deadlines.
Can bridge the gap between technology and business, effortlessly translating technical specifications into sales benefits.
Possess a minimum B2 level of English, allowing for fluent business communication.
Your main responsibilities:
You will be working on the development of selected categories i.e., Audio/Photo or SDA in a dynamic team and cross-functionally (contact with many internal departments within Allegro, from marketing to technology).
You will be responsible for the development and achievement of results of selected categories.
You will analyze the assortment and track online/offline trends to identify assortment gaps and category growth opportunities.
You will take responsibility for monitoring category performance in order to diagnose potential problems and propose solutions.
You will coordinate, from the category side, sales-supporting campaigns on the platform and co-create the annual event and activations calendar.
You will be responsible for developing cooperation with key brands to improve their results on Allegro.
You will lead projects in the business-technology area.
