Senior Software Engineer Android

Your new company Your new role As a Senior Software Engineer - Android, you will take on a technical leadership role within the mobile engineering team, contributing to the development of a large-scale Android application used by millions of users worldwide. You will be responsible for designing and delivering complex Android solutions, shaping technical architecture, and mentoring other engineers. Working closely with product managers, backend engineers, QA specialists, and iOS developers, you will participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements and architecture through implementation and deployment. The role offers exposure to modern mobile technologies, video streaming solutions, IoT ecosystems, and large-scale distributed platforms. What you'll need to succeed 5+ years of commercial Android development experience. Strong expertise in Kotlin and Android application development. Experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, Jetpack Compose, MVVM/MVI, and Clean Architecture. Proven track record of designing and delivering scalable production-grade mobile applications. Experience integrating REST APIs and backend services. Strong knowledge of Coroutines and Flow. Experience with Gradle, modular architecture, dependency management, and Git. Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor other engineers. Strong communication skills and experience collaborating across multiple teams. Fluent English. Nice to have: Video streaming technologies (HLS, RTSP, WebRTC, MediaCodec). Android NDK/JNI. CI/CD pipelines. Mobile AI/ML solutions. Experience with IoT, Smart Home, or connected-device ecosystems.
