Service Engineer - UHT & Dairy Processing Systems

Description

We are looking for a hands-on Service Engineer to support installation, preventive maintenance, and overhaul activities for UHT and dairy processing systems. This role works closely with customers to ensure equipment reliability, performance, and long-term service value.

Your profile and qualifications

• Strong experience in maintenance and servicing of industrial processing equipment

• Hands-on knowledge of:UHT systemsSpray Dryer plantsMixing plants for dairy / beverage processing

• UHT systems

• Mixing plants for dairy / beverage processing

• Solid understanding of:Mechanical systemsElectrical componentsHydraulic and pneumatic systems

• Mechanical systems

• Electrical components

• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems

• Familiarity with dairy processing (liquid and powder) operations

• Ability to diagnose issues and perform structured troubleshooting

• Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Robotics, Control & Automation Engineering, or related field

• Minimum 3- 5 years of relevant service or maintenance experience in industrial environments

• Good command of technical English

• Valid driving license and willingness to travel frequently

• Experience with GEA equipment or similar OEM systems

• Exposure to regional or on-site customer support roles

• Understanding of food processing industry standards and safety practices

Your responsibilities and tasks

• Plan and execute overhaul activities for UHT systems

• Perform crack testing and maintenance for Spray Dryer plants

• Conduct preventive maintenance for GEA equipment (e.g., Avapac, mixing plants)

• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and automation issues

• Support installation, servicing, and repair of dairy processing equipment

• Engage with customers to introduce and promote service offerings

• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards
