Supplier Quality Engineer

Description

Drive effective resolution of supplier quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies. Coordinate corrective and preventive actions with suppliers to ensure sustainable improvements. Support supplier development activities and continuous improvement programs. Act as the key liaison between Suppliers, Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams. Participate in cross-functional teams focused on change management, quality improvement, and operational excellence. Conduct supplier capability assessments and develop action plans to address identified gaps. Support supplier change management processes and ensure compliance with quality requirements. Lead and participate in supplier audits and follow-up activities. Support smooth product and process launches while ensuring supplier readiness. Monitor supplier quality performance and drive improvement initiatives where required. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field. Minimum 2 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or a related Quality role within an automotive environment. Strong knowledge of quality methodologies and problem-solving tools. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Experience in conducting audits and driving supplier improvement activities. Strong sense of ownership, persistence, and ability to manage challenging quality situations. Fluent English, both written and spoken. Experience in coaching, facilitation, or training activities is considered an advantage. Stable employment within an international manufacturing organization.
