Requirements

  • Experience in finance or accounting with a specialization in tax.

  • Higher education in finance-related fields.

  • Experience building and maintaining databases, reconciling data, and automation.

  • Familiarity with automation tools and data analytics platforms (e.g. Alteryx, PowerBI, etc.).

  • Proficient in Excel.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in both English and Polish is required.

  • Broad understanding of business needs and awareness of competitors and retail landscape.

  • Self-motivation and excellent time and project management skills.

  • Results- and solutions-orientated, presenting results in a clearly structured and professional manner.

  • Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Build and “Own” tax master data for the Group.

  • Interrogate data and deliver different outputs to satisfy various requirements across Transfer Pricing and Tax Compliance.

  • Reconcile source data.

  • Support implementation of the Group’s new ERP system with a focus on tax master data and simplifying tax processes.

  • Analyse and document current tax processes and translate them into future-state ERP workflows.

  • Support Transfer Pricing and Tax Compliance and Reporting on a group-wide basis, covering a number of entities and jurisdictions.

  • Mitigate tax risk through effective controls and testing effectiveness of controls.

  • Support open and transparent relationships with tax authorities.

  • Support delivery of the tax optimisation strategy geared around the business cost saving through automation and digitisation.

  • Consider differences between countries, geographical requirements, legislative compliance and business needs when supporting to deliver the strategy for tax master data.
