The opportunity Risk Management Services (RMS) has been operating in EY GDS Poland for almost 10 years as part of a global function and continues to grow rapidly. Within RMS, Independence is the largest sub-function, responsible for delivering key internal processes that help ensure EY and its professionals comply with auditor independence rules and regulations. This work supports EY Member Practices by helping them remain free from interests or relationships that could compromise, or appear to compromise, the objectivity, integrity, and impartiality required in audit engagements. The role offers opportunities to work in a dynamic, growth-focused environment, with an objective of protecting EY’s reputation as an independent auditor, by providing support to EY member firm practices. It also involves close collaboration with global teams and stakeholders to strengthen the compliance framework and foster a mindset of continuous improvement and client enablement. Ideally you should have degree in economy, finance, business administration or a related field and some experience in business research. You should be able to independently complete your regular responsibilities according to tight deadlines, have a positive attitude, an open mind and willingness to adapt to new technologies. You should be flexible, open for challenges and changes as our environment is young and dynamic.

Ideally, you’ll also have
Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or related field (or in progress).
Basic understanding of financial terminologies and companies’ structures.
Experience is a plus, but not required. We welcome fresh graduates and career starters.

Your key responsibilities
As a Risk associate, you will:
Learn and apply Independence policies and processes using global tools and databases.
Review and validate documents from client-serving teams for accuracy and completeness.
Conduct secondary research using internal and external databases.
Perform reconciliation, research and provide preliminary recommendations.
Communicate with global teams to follow up on requests and ensure timely completion.
Work in a cross-location environment, fostering close collaboration with teams in India and Manila to ensure seamless coordination and delivery across global processes.
Share insights and ideas to improve processes and contribute to special projects.
Provide additional support in dedicated projects/task assignments.
To qualify for the role, you must have
Fluent English
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
Attention to details and demonstrable research skills
Basic knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
