Your team

• UBS Asset Management Security Reference & Price Data Services team is responsible for providing timely, accurate and complete Security Reference & Price Data to the UBS Asset Management Division – in line with defined requirements.

• Sitting at the intersection of the Business and Technology teams, AM Security Reference & Price Data team is part of the Asset Management COO function and has a mandate to govern and commercialize data through innovative technology and services.

• Team provides 24*6 coverage to ensure uninterrupted support and assistance to the Asset Management Division. Team members are in Chicago, Krakow, Singapore, and Pune.

Your expertise

• a university degree, ideally in – Business Mgmt. / Finance / Information Technology

• minimum of 2 years’ experience in Financial Institution or similar organization

• understanding of major Asset Classes (Listed, Derivatives, Benchmark, Indices, OTC) and the key data attributes

• working knowledge of leading market data platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, ICE)

• great analytical skills and keen eye for details

• proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools - Excel/VBA/Macro, SQL

• strong communication skills - verbal and written

• excellent problem-solving skills

• collaborative team player

Your role

• Do you have strong analytical skills? Are you familiar with statistical concepts and able to transform data into bespoke content? Do you want to help us expand our data platform?

• We’re looking for a data analyst to:

• validate Security Reference & Price data from vendors / Internal sources to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency.

• perform operational processes (manual data input / manual data amendment & enrichment, report generation) to enable service delivery.

• analyze input and created data to identify patterns, trends, anomalies, and exceptions; with purpose of taking necessary corrective action.

• resolve user queries from Portfolio Managers, Risk Managers, and other teams, in line with defined Service Level Agreements

• document and review standard operating procedures to ensure its fit for purpose.

• implement Data Governance policies – in line with Divisional & Group Data Management Framework

• provide business analysis and requirements to refine / create data management processes and system flows.

• collaborate with other teams in UBS Asset Management & beyond to ensure seamless integration of data within various systems and applications.
