You will support the strategic needs of all locations of division Traction by defining the sourcing strategy, securing a suitable supplier base, negotiating pricing and contractual conditions and initiating cost reduction initiatives. Main stakeholders are Engineering, R&D, Supplier Quality Management and Operative Procurement. Wymagania

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement is essential.

• Proven experience in supplier negotiations, contract management, and category strategy development is required.

• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills are necessary.

• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and international teams is expected.

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required; German language skills are considered an advantage.

• Knowledge of electrical components and experience in the railway industry are considered assets.

• A results-oriented mindset with the ability to drive cost optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives is important.

• Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, as well as ERP systems such as SAP, is required.
