Each day, you will be responsible for supporting compliance with internal policies and external regulations, monitoring control effectiveness, and driving continuous improvement across risk and compliance practices. You will also showcase your expertise by guiding and supporting stakeholders on compliance requirements, audit readiness, control execution, documentation management, and process improvements to ensure effective and efficient compliance across the organization.The work model for the role is: #hybrid #hybrid-LiThis role is contributing to the FPDS function within ABB Finance and it reports to the IS Compliance Operations Lead in Kraków, Poland.Main stakeholders are IS Compliance roles across the organization, compliance officers, Corporate IS SRC, internal and external auditors, and Group Functions including Governance & Assurance, Risk and Internal Control, Data Privacy, and Global Trade.Key Responsibilities:Providing subject matter expertise and guidance on compliance requirements, controls, and regulatory obligationsReviewing and supporting the design, implementation, documentation, and execution of IT compliance controlsMonitoring control effectiveness and supporting the remediation of identified deficienciesSupporting compliance assurance activities, audits, assessments, and reporting processesDeveloping and maintaining compliance documentation, templates, and audit-cycle deliverablesCoordinating stakeholder meetings, tracking action items, and ensuring timely follow-up on key initiativesDelivering training and awareness activities to strengthen compliance maturity and execution qualityDriving continuous improvement of compliance processes, methodologies, tools, and governance practicesSupporting risk and compliance management activities to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulationsYou will join a collaborative, high-performing, and globally connected team, where you will be able to thrive.Qualifications:You are highly skilled in IT governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 2700xYou have experience in IT compliance, internal controls, audit support, or risk managementPossess an enhanced knowledge of SOX, Data Privacy, Export Control, ESG, or similar regulatory requirementsYou are passionate about continuous improvement and maintaining high compliance standardsYou are innovative around problem solving, critical thinking, and stakeholder collaborationYou have established skills in process analysis, control testing, and documentation managementHighly adept in Microsoft Office tools and working with compliance-related documentationDegree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, or a related fieldYou are at ease communicating in EnglishWhat's in it for you?We want you to bring your full self to work—your ideas, your energy, your ambition. Qualifications

• You are highly skilled in IT governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 2700x

• You have experience in IT compliance, internal controls, audit support, or risk management

• Possess an enhanced knowledge of SOX, Data Privacy, Export Control, ESG, or similar regulatory requirements

• You are passionate about continuous improvement and maintaining high compliance standards

• You are innovative around problem solving, critical thinking, and stakeholder collaboration

• You have established skills in process analysis, control testing, and documentation management

• Highly adept in Microsoft Office tools and working with compliance-related documentation

• Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business, or a related field

• You are at ease communicating in English

Key Responsibilities
