Lead Engineer / Architect

Description

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer / Architect with strong experience in AI-driven applications to lead the evolution of a GenAI-powered voice assistant used by shopfloor workers in a manufacturing environment. This role combines hands-on development, solution architecture, and technical leadership, with a focus on building scalable, real-time, AI-powered systems on Microsoft Azure. The role is part of a GenAI-powered voice assistant solution for shopfloor workers in a manufacturing environment. Existing production solution needs to be further developed, optimized, and rolled out to additional locations. Mobile-first voice agent using LiveKit framework and GPT Realtime API (Azure OpenAI Realtime) Real-time and document based answering o RAG: Azure AI Search + SharePoint (ingestion via Graph API) o Real-time data: Snowflake via MCP (Cortex Analyst) Azure Container Apps, Python backend, TypeScript/React frontend

Responsibilities
