Your profile and qualifications
Highschool Diploma OR GED Required with 2-3 years of experience
Be certified to operate various forklift trucks.
Must be able to communicate efficiently with personnel in Purchasing, R&D and QA departments.
Be familiar with operating procedures for conveyors, scales, hoists, meters, etc.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to read and interpret metal rule.
Be familiar with procedures such as lock-out/tag-out, confined space, HAZMAT, forklift safety and various other safety measures.

Your responsibilities and tasks
Follow all manufacturing procedures per GMP and FDA requirements.
Responsible for maintaining a constant flow of production consistent with established production and quality standards.
Prepare packaging materials in order to fill, seal, and palletize various packages according to manufacturing order.
Responsible for packaging some regulated hazardous chemicals
Ensure that product is being filled in appropriate pre-labeled containers.
Monitor the appearance and fill levels of the materials being packaged.
Monitor the operation of the equipment being utilized.
Properly write up production tags with the amount of packaged product and accurately report on batch ticket.
May be required to assist with unloading of empty drum trailers and other warehousing functions.
Maintain a clean and neat appearance of the immediate work area.
Follow all safety instructions and procedures.
