Dołącz do nas i pomóż zarządzać tym, co napędza świat.Stanowisko to podlega:SCM Team Lead__We are currently looking for a Project Procurement Specialist to strengthen the Project Procurement team at EUOPC Ostrava operating for Process Industries Division within ABB's Automation Business Area.In this role, you will be responsible of procurement execution for projects, with a focus on timely delivery and contract-compliant quality and cost for our Process Industries Division within Automation business area based in Switzerland.Reporting to the Procurement & Logistics Team Lead, you will interface with teams from Project Management, Engineering, Sales, Site Teams and coordinate the flow of information between the project team and suppliers.The work model for the role is: hybrid.Key responsibilities:1. Procurement Project ExecutionAssuming overall responsibility for correct and on-time delivery of goods and services procured from global suppliersManaging open orders and maintaining proactive expediting and progress control throughout project executionCoordinating schedule and freeze alignment, ensuring suppliers meet critical project milestonesConducting kick-off meetings and coordinating internal stakeholders to establish clear project expectationsHandling comprehensive documentation control, including document transmittals and milestone documentationMonitoring procurement activity status with proactive identification and resolution of delivery delaysNegotiating and managing change orders, expediting their execution while maintaining contractual alignmentExercising contractual control over supplier performance and execution compliance with PO termsDefending ABB's contractual rights by compiling, documenting, and addressing supplier claimsCoordinating project teams regarding third-party supplier deliveries, including storage, warranty, and related logisticsTracking schedules and execution progress as an integral part of project management activities2. MeetingsActing as the representative of the procurement team in interactions with project management, sales, supplier quality and the engineering team.Participating in the following meetings:Routine procurement progress meetingsGlobal procurement team meetingsParticipation in meetings with suppliers during final tendering stageKick off and regular meetings with suppliers in project executionMeetings with project execution team (PM, Engineering, Planning, Purchasing)Technical meetings with Engineering and QualityEscalation / Expediting meetings and factory visits with suppliers3. Key responsibilities
Assuming overall responsibility for correct and on-time delivery of goods and services procured from global suppliers
Managing open orders and maintaining proactive expediting and progress control throughout project execution
Coordinating schedule and freeze alignment, ensuring suppliers meet critical project milestones
Conducting kick-off meetings and coordinating internal stakeholders to establish clear project expectations
Handling comprehensive documentation control, including document transmittals and milestone documentation
Monitoring procurement activity status with proactive identification and resolution of delivery delays
Negotiating and managing change orders, expediting their execution while maintaining contractual alignment
Exercising contractual control over supplier performance and execution compliance with PO terms
Defending ABB's contractual rights by compiling, documenting, and addressing supplier claims
Coordinating project teams regarding third-party supplier deliveries, including storage, warranty, and related logistics
Tracking schedules and execution progress as an integral part of project management activities
Routine procurement progress meetings
Global procurement team meetings
Participation in meetings with suppliers during final tendering stage
Kick off and regular meetings with suppliers in project execution
Meetings with project execution team (PM, Engineering, Planning, Purchasing)
Technical meetings with Engineering and Quality
Escalation / Expediting meetings and factory visits with suppliers
During the trial period, you may be asked to spend one week in Baden, Zurich area in Switzerland.
