Your responsibilities

• Tackle the most important modelling challenges across ING, supporting teams and projects wherever additional expertise or capacity is needed

• Develop innovative solutions, methodologies and analytical tools that improve the way credit risk is managed

• Translate complex quantitative topics into practical recommendations and tangible business impact

• The expected salary for this position:

You'll get extra points for

• Experience in IRB or IFRS9 model development, validation or implementation

• Experience acting as a sparring partner to senior management

• Exposure to different risk disciplines, portfolios or regulatory initiatives

We are looking for you, if you

• Have a strong quantitative background (MSc in Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Physics, Engineering or a similar field) and experience within credit risk modelling

• Enjoy solving unfamiliar problems, quickly learning new topics and working in areas where there is no established playbook

• Can move comfortably between deep technical analysis and discussions with senior stakeholders

• Are fluent in English (C1)
