The opportunity We are looking for an experienced SAP CO Manager / Team Lead who combines deep hands‑on SAP CO expertise with the ability to lead projects, define solutions, and manage consulting teams. In this role, you will work directly with business stakeholders, shaping Controlling solutions across global S/4HANA programs and supporting clients through complex finance and cost‑accounting transformations. Ideally, you’ll also have
Experience with SAP Activate, SAP RISE, SAP Cloud editions, and past ECC environments.
Exposure to planning tools (BPC, SAC).
Experience in multi‑country rollouts and multinational manufacturing projects.
SAP S/4HANA Finance certification.
Understanding of business controls, audit, and compliance requirements.

Your key responsibilities
As a SAP CO Manager, you will lead SAP CO workstreams in large‑scale ECC and S/4HANA implementations, own end‑to‑end solution design, and ensure high‑quality delivery across the full project lifecycle. You will combine hands‑on configuration expertise with leadership of CO consultants and close alignment with FI, MM, SD, PP and other teams. You will also drive stakeholder engagement, support governance, and solve complex functional and integration challenges.
To qualify for the role, you must have
8–12+ years of SAP CO experience, including proven experience as CO Lead / Manager / Workstream Lead.
Hands‑on expertise in FI–CO integration and Controlling processes for manufacturing (production, supply chain).
Deep knowledge of CO‑PA (account‑based), Product Costing, Profit Center Accounting.
Experience in at least 2 full‑cycle S/4HANA implementations or conversions.
Ability to manage consultants across multiple countries and work within complex global IT structures.
Strong understanding of end‑to‑end business processes, data migration, configuration, and change management.
Readiness to participate in SAP Consulting implementation projects with a focus on developing new solutions and expanding system functionalities within the scope of R&D activities
Hands-on approach to collaborating with R&D teams to identify and implement best practices and new SAP solutions that may enhance the efficiency of business processes.
Willingness to report the progress of R&D projects and documenting the results of implementations, as well as post-implementation review.
Practical, hands-on expertise in designing, testing, and implementing SAP solutions — from workshops and pilots to proof‑of‑concepts and deployment of new or improved system features.
