Senior Java Developer

Description

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join our team at EPAM Systems in Poland. This position offers a fully remote role based in Poland. We are highly interested in candidates willing to start in September. Responsibilities Develop and maintain backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud Apply design patterns and object-oriented principles to build scalable microservices Design and implement efficient data structures while following clean coding practices Work with relational databases and middleware components to support application functionality Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and reliable software solutions Contribute to architectural decisions related to microservices and cloud-based systems Support integration of message queues and caching mechanisms into existing systems Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions to promote engineering excellence Requirements 6+ years of hands-on development experience in Java, with expertise in Spring Boot and Spring Cloud Understanding of design patterns, microservices architecture, and object-oriented principles Knowledge of Data Structures and adherence to clean coding practices Proficiency in PL/SQL and relational database concepts Familiarity with Tomcat, Redis, and message queues (MQ) English proficiency (B2+) Nice to have Experience with Kafka Skills in AWS/Azure cloud platforms Familiarity with Terraform, GitLab, and Ansible Knowledge of CI/CD tools

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on development experience in Java, with expertise in Spring Boot and Spring Cloud

• Understanding of design patterns, microservices architecture, and object-oriented principles

• Knowledge of Data Structures and adherence to clean coding practices

• Proficiency in PL/SQL and relational database concepts

• Familiarity with Tomcat, Redis, and message queues (MQ)

• English proficiency (B2+)
