Senior / Lead Automation Tester (Mobile)

Description

We are seeking a skilled Senior/Lead Automation Tester (Mobile) to help define and implement a robust QA strategy and drive continuous improvements in the quality of native Android and iOS applications. The ideal candidate combines a strong QA mindset with hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing and is comfortable working across mobile platforms within a CI/CD-driven development environment. Responsibilities Define, set up and continuously improve the QA strategy for native Android and iOS applications Design, implement and maintain automated test suites for mobile applications Execute manual tests when required and ensure appropriate coverage Identify, document, prioritize and follow up on defects with a strong focus on impact and risk Collaborate closely with developers, product managers and other stakeholders to improve overall product quality Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure reliable test execution Contribute to quality standards, best practices and testing guidelines across the team Requirements 3+ years of experience in Test Automation Proven experience in defining and executing Android and iOS testing strategies Hands-on expertise in native mobile test frameworks: XCUITest (iOS) and Espresso (Android) Familiarity with cross-platform and web testing frameworks such as Appium, WebDriver or Selenium Strong background in test automation tools and frameworks Solid programming proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines or similar CI/CD platforms Strong QA mindset, with an eye for edge cases, the ability to break things and sound judgment when prioritizing defects Practical experience in manual test execution and test automation for mobile applications Nice to have Familiarity with web technologies such as JavaScript and HTML

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Test Automation

• Proven experience in defining and executing Android and iOS testing strategies

• Hands-on expertise in native mobile test frameworks: XCUITest (iOS) and Espresso (Android)

• Familiarity with cross-platform and web testing frameworks such as Appium, WebDriver or Selenium

• Strong background in test automation tools and frameworks

• Solid programming proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript

• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines or similar CI/CD platforms

• Strong QA mindset, with an eye for edge cases, the ability to break things and sound judgment when prioritizing defects

• Practical experience in manual test execution and test automation for mobile applications
