Senior Platform Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design and maintain robust internal platforms that empower development teams with self-service tools and streamlined workflows. You will have the opportunity to lead the adoption of AI-enabled platform capabilities, such as generative AI (GenAI), autonomous agents, and AIOps, driving innovation and operational excellence. You will focus on creating standardized tools, frameworks, and seamless integrations to enhance developer workflows and platform reliability. Responsibilities Design and maintain internal platforms enabling self-service deployment and management of applications Develop standardized tools, frameworks, and libraries to streamline workflows across teams Guide adoption of AI technologies on the platform (GenAI, AI agents, AIOps) to improve developer productivity and operations Integrate various development tools and services within the platform ecosystem Enhance developer experience through documentation, training, and platform support Implement strategies to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of platforms Utilize DORA metrics to assess and improve software delivery and operational processes Stay updated with emerging technologies to continuously improve platform capabilities Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams for seamless application support Provide technical guidance to resolve platform-related issues and improve system health Requirements At least 3 years of experience in platform engineering or related roles Strong understanding of software development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep and GitOps tools like Flux or ArgoCD Familiarity with cloud resource management tools including Crossplane, Pulumi, and AWS Controllers for Kubernetes Experience with internal developer platforms such as Backstage, Humanitec, or OpsLevel Knowledge of high availability, high performance, multi-data center systems, and hybrid cloud environments Scripting skills in Bash, Shell, or Python Strong troubleshooting abilities for complex system and application issues Proficient English communication skills in speaking, writing, and reading Nice to have Native AI cloud services: AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, Azure AI Experience in designing, building, and operating AI agents and agentic frameworks Coding Agents Claude Code, OpenCode, Cursor, Trae, Antigravity

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in platform engineering or related roles

• Strong understanding of software development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices

• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep and GitOps tools like Flux or ArgoCD

• Familiarity with cloud resource management tools including Crossplane, Pulumi, and AWS Controllers for Kubernetes

• Experience with internal developer platforms such as Backstage, Humanitec, or OpsLevel

• Knowledge of high availability, high performance, multi-data center systems, and hybrid cloud environments

• Scripting skills in Bash, Shell, or Python

• Strong troubleshooting abilities for complex system and application issues

• Proficient English communication skills in speaking, writing, and reading
