About the Role As a Senior Software Engineer, you will join a global R&D team developing advanced Electronic Design Automation (EDA) solutions used by leading technology companies worldwide. Your work will directly contribute to software that enables the design and verification of increasingly complex semiconductor, board, and system architectures. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimise high-performance EDA software solutions used in chip, board, and system design. Translate customer and business requirements into scalable and robust technical solutions. Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical and algorithmic challenges. Contribute to software architecture discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams in an agile development environment. Mentor and support less experienced engineers by sharing technical expertise and best development practices. Ensure high software quality, reliability, and maintainability throughout the development life cycle. Participate in the delivery of innovative solutions that help customers accelerate product development and innovation. Your Profile Master's degree, PhD, or equivalent professional experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. 5+ years of professional experience in software development, preferably within EDA or another highly technical engineering domain. Strong programming skills in C and C++. Hands-on experience with Visual Studio and modern software development practices. Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software architecture principles. Experience designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems and algorithmic solutions. Solid understanding of modelling concepts and/or mathematical modelling. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex technical challenges. Ability to collaborate effectively within international, cross-functional development teams. Strong communication skills and a passion for continuous learning and technical excellence. Nice to Have Knowledge of circuit analysis, algebra, calculus, or related engineering disciplines. Experience with VHDL-AMS or Verilog-AMS. Bash scripting skills. Java development experience. Understanding of EDA concepts, methodologies, and commercial EDA products. Background in semiconductor design, simulation, or electronic systems engineering. Experience working with large-scale engineering or scientific software applications.
