Description

We are looking for a Senior Service Engineer to execute service, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities on high-value separators and homogenizers at customer sites across Turkey. The role requires strong technical expertise, customer-facing capabilities, and the flexibility to travel frequently. You will work closely with a team of service engineers and technicians, ensuring all work meets GEA quality, safety, and performance standards, while actively contributing to continuous service improvement.

Your profile and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering preferred) or equivalent technical qualification.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in field service and mechanical maintenance within:DairyFoodChemicalPharmaceuticalMarine & Energy industries

  • Dairy

  • Food

  • Chemical

  • Pharmaceutical

  • Marine & Energy industries

  • Strong process knowledge of separation technology (highly preferred).

  • Proven experience with high-value homogenizers and separators.

  • Solid mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.

  • Proficient in MS Office applications.

  • Fluent in spoken and written English. Only applications submitted in English will be considered

  • Willingness to travel frequently across Turkey.

  • Completed military service (for male candidates).

  • Senior, hands-on service professional with strong ownership.

  • Analytical mindset and structured problem-solving approach.

  • Team player with excellent collaboration skills.

  • Strong communication skills with internal teams and external customers.

  • Customer-oriented, reliable, and results-driven.

Your responsibilities and tasks

  • Execute service, maintenance, and repair works at customer sites across Turkey.

  • Perform assembly and disassembly of mechanical equipment such as:SeparatorsHomogenizersValvesPumps

  • Separators

  • Homogenizers

  • Valves

  • Pumps

  • Apply process and operational knowledge of separators to:Troubleshoot technical issuesSupport investigation reportsAssist customers in improving efficiency and operational performance.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues

  • Support investigation reports

  • Assist customers in improving efficiency and operational performance.

  • Inspect and evaluate mechanical, electrical, process, operational, and quality aspects of systems.

  • Prepare accurate service reports and documentation in line with company guidelines to support service excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Coordinate closely with other service engineers and technicians to ensure:Timely completion of workCompliance with quality and safety requirements.

  • Timely completion of work

  • Compliance with quality and safety requirements.

  • Attend technical trainings related to equipment and processes to continuously enhance technical skills.

  • Review service practices and propose corrective and improvement actions to increase service performance and efficiency.
