Wymagania
The ideal candidate has experience in microbiology or experimental biophysics, is able to independently conduct bacterial conjugation experiments.
Important: at the time of starting employment, candidates must have the status of a PhD student.
Interest in biophysics and quantitative methods in biology is welcome.
The position will be funded under the project "Using Cell Colliders to identify antibiotic resistance superspreading events in bacteria" (NAWA Polish Returns grant to Dr. Jonasz Słomka; reference number BPN/PPO/2024/1/00008/U/00001).
This position is not related to activities covered by the protection of minors.

Zakres obowiązków
Responsible for performing bacterial conjugation experiments under various physical and biological conditions;
Developing experimental setups to measure bacterial conjugation by controlling cell encounters;
Analyzing experimental results and integrating them with mathematical models;
Publication of the results of the analyses.
